Is the plastic hammer crusher suitable for connection with plastic washing lines and electrostatic sorting lines?

Recently, Wandful's team has been in communication with a client to customize an integrated solution for a recycled plastic washing line, electrostatic sorting line, and color sorting line. After several rounds of discussions, the client surprisingly suggested integrating the hammer crusher into the production line. When asked about the reason, they wanted to enhance the automation level of the production line. Indeed, a high level of automation in the front and back-end connections reduces space and manpower. However, they overlooked one important aspect—the noise and vibration generated by the hammer crusher during operation. Let's explore the impacts.

The plastic hammer crusher is a common equipment for recycled resources, producing significant noise when tearing apart plastic. For operators, prolonged exposure can cause irreversible damage to hearing. Additionally, the loud noise can have serious effects on the surrounding environment and residents, disrupting normal life and work, leading to complaints and disputes. The strong vibrations can also transmit to buildings, the ground, and other equipment, causing structural damage and interfering with the normal operation of nearby equipment. The industry practice is often to place the hammer crusher in a soundproof room to mitigate the noise impact.

In summary, the hammer crusher is not suitable for online connection with Wandful's plastic washing line and electrostatic sorting line. It should be operated in a separate working space.
